MULCHING is a great option if you’re looking to save time, as there’s no need to keep breaking-off to visit the compost-heap. Clippings are instead chopped and returned to the turf, where they rapidly rot and disappear, nourishing the grass as they do so.
When used in side-discharge mode (ideal when mowing long grass), clippings are ejected well clear of the operator’s feet via Masport’s SMART CHUTE, which has been designed to spread them evenly, without clumping.
Other features include a durable 46-litre HARD SHELL COLLECTOR, with a ‘COLLECTOR FULL’ indicator; and a WASHPORT, so you can attach a hose and clean the underside of the deck while the engine’s running.
The Masport MSV 3n1 combines a hugely powerful 6hp (190cc) Briggs & Stratton XVS60 engine with a generous 48.5 cm CUTTING WIDTH, so it’s well equipped to deal quickly and efficiently with the larger lawn. Its TWIN CUT DISC BLADE system and aerodynamically moulded deck ensure superior performance in terms of cutting, collection and mulching; while its DUAL MOWZONE design provides extended blade-coverage, allowing you to mow right up to walls and fences.
The BLADE HEIGHT can be adjusted to 11 positions between 10 and 70mm, giving you the flexibility you need to fine-tune your finish. Built to last, the Masport MSV 3n1 has a CORROSION RESISTANT HEAVY DUTY CAST ALLOY DECK.
Its extra-wide ‘MAG’-style wheels are mounted on DOUBLE BALL BEARINGS for smooth-operation and enhanced longevity. Operator comfort is clearly important when tackling larger-scale applications, so Masport have incorporated their ‘ERGO’ handle, which has infinitely variable height adjustment.

This is brand new and has only been out of the box to check it and for the photos, it has never even had the oil put in which is still in the container, or had the grass box put together and is complete with the operating manuals.
After a lot of research and reading reviews, I bought one for myself and then one for my father in-law as he wanted to replace his ageing mower. He was living in South Devon at the time and regretfully, before I could deliver it to him, he had a series of strokes and passed away.
At the time the price was £449.
